General information

Make Yourself Active!

Sharing your talents with others is a rewarding way to express your spirituality. There are many ways you can volunteer and use your gifts.

In The Liturgy

The Celebration of the Eucharist is an action of Jesus and of the Church. Active participation can deepen ones faith whether it is in the Ministry of the Word, as a Eucharist Minister or Hospitality Minister. Each duty has a special function and are all equally important. Good Shepherd's offers training for those who are interested. For more information, contact Good Shepherd's.

In The Church

Do you want to help but don't know where to begin? Start at the bottom! Jesus taught us to bend down and wash the feet of others. Passing out books before Mass, greeting people as they arrive and tidying up after Mass are not only helpful ministries but very rewarding and helpful to Good Shepherd's. We always need volunteers to help on Fellowship Sunday. Chores are setting up, serving and cleaning up. Feel free to pitch in! Don't be shy! Just do it!

In The Community

Living F.A.I.T.H.: Faith Alive In The Heart is a group that meets twice a month on Tuesday evening. Living F.A.I.T.H. seeks to reach out to our brothers and sisters in the community. Especially those who are suffering or in need. We currently support the Catholic Social Service Agency "Light House" whose main focus is helping the poor of Zug. Please contact Shannon Poltera at: shannon.poltera@kath-zug.ch

Annual Volunteer Dinner

Every year, together with the volunteers from our host parish Gut Hirt, we invite our volunteers to dinner. Teams from both communities serve you! It is our way of saying "thank you" for your help.
Our next Volunteer dinner will be in September 2024.
You must be a volunteer to attend.
