Laudes Matutina...

... is Latin and means "Morning Praise". It refers to a specific part of the Liturgy of the Hours or the Divine Office, which is a set of daily prayers and psalms that form an integral part of the Catholic Church's liturgical tradition. Also known as Lauds, it is a morning prayer service traditionally prayed by clergy and some lay people. It takes place in the early hours of the morning, often before sunrise. The service includes singing, reciting psalms, biblical readings, iand intercessions. It is a way for the faithful to offer praise and thanksgiving to God at the beginning of the day.

Tuesday Mornings

We meet in the Crypt on Tuesday mornings at 6:30 for Morning Prayer. It is followed by Mass (in German - in the Crypt) at 7:00.
