God Does Not Give Up on You
There are moments in life when we feel as if we have failed. Maybe we feel like we have failed ourselves, failed others, even failed God. In those moments, doubt creeps in, telling us that we are not good enough, that we have gone too far, that maybe God has turned away from us. But the truth is: God does not give up on you.
It's in the Bible
Scripture is filled with stories of people who have stumbled, lost their way, and have made mistakes, but God never abandoned them. Think of Peter. He denied Jesus three times. Overwhelmed by shame, he wept bitterly. But Jesus went after him, sought him out, and entrusted him with shepherding His flock. God did not give up on Peter. God will not give up on you.
In Isaiah 41:10, God assures us: "Do not fear, I am with you; do not be anxious, I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you; I will uphold you with my victorious right hand."
Unconditionally
God’s love is not conditional. It is not measured on our successes or failures. He sees beyond our weaknesses and loves us for who we are, his beloved children. Even when we struggle to believe in ourselves, God believes in us. Even when we let go of God, he never lets go of us.
So if you are feeling lost, discouraged, or unworthy, remember: God has not given up on you, and he never will. Instead of turning away in shame or fear, turn toward God. His mercy is always greater than our failures, and his love is always reaching out, ready to lift us up.
Friend, you are not forgotten. You are not beyond redemption. You are held in the hands of a God who is faithful, patient, and full of compassion. No matter where you are on your journey, no matter how many times you have fallen, God does not give up on you. And that is the greatest hope of all.
