Celebrating Faith and Community

The dedication of a church is a sacred event. In the Catholic tradition, it is the consecration of a building as a holy space for the worship of God and the celebration of the sacraments.

Rite of Dedication of a Church and Altar

During the rite, the altar is anointed with holy oil, incense is burned as a symbol of our prayers rising to heaven and the walls of the church are blessed. It reminds us that the church is more than just a building, it is a place where the community gathers to encounter Christ, to grow in holiness and experience the living presence of God in the Eucharist.

Church Anniversary

On November 10, 2024, we will commemorate the 87 years of our Church as a beacon of hope for generations and the countless lives that have been touched within these walls. It is a time to look forward to the future with hope and gratitude. Our celebration will begin with a multi-lingual Mass, together with our friends from Gut Hirt and the missions who also make our church their spiritual home. This is a beautiful reminder that our faith community knows no boundaries of language or culture.

Fun for Everyone!

Following the Mass, we invite everyone, young and old, to join in the festivities. There will be food stands with delicious offerings, attractions, and activities for all ages. Whether you’ve been a part of this parish for decades or are new to our community, this day is for you. It is a celebration to give thanks for the past, to celebrate the present, and to commit ourselves to a future filled with love, service, and faith. We look forward to celebrating with you and welcoming everyone to this special day of fellowship and joy.
